A large PC retail chain needed to develop a product information network to provide its 500 Japanese stores and affiliates with the latest products specification, pricing and compatibility information on a daily basis.

Twin Sun partnered with the company to design, develop and deploy a highly-available server infrastructure, product information database and shop Internet/extranet architecture. Automated network-based software distribution and network-based archiving mechanisms reduce in-person support calls to the shops. The system was installed and is maintained as a turnkey solution by Twin Sun.

Twin Sun's responsibilities included project management, communication with Japanese information providers, US vendor management, primary server hosting, training and on-going maintenance support.
