Twin Sun has is looking for full-time system
programmer/administrators with a strong background in
GNU/Linux, UNIX, and Microsoft operating systems.
The primary qualifications for these positions include:

At least one year of UNIX system administration experience with variety of
platforms (BSD, GNU/Linux, and Solaris experience is preferred).

Fluency in administrative languages (e.g. C, Perl, make, sh).

Fundamental understanding of networking and distributed computing environment
concepts and management, including a thorough understanding of
TCP/IP.

Experience managing and integrating TCP/IP LANs and WANs. Familiarity with
network topologies and hardware, including cable systems, routers, hubs,
and firewalls.

Experience using and configuring Internet services like DNS, HTTP, SMTP,
IMAP, NFS, and NIS+.

Hardware experience with workstations and PCs, and the ability to
install and configure peripherals.

Experience with x86-based UNIX and Microsoft Windows systems.

High level of expertise with UNIX and Microsoft Windows fundamentals,
commands and utilities, and distributed workstation computing.

Must be self motivated and able to work independently.
Expertise in one or more of the following areas is a definite plus:
-
Management of RDBMS (e.g. DB2, Informix, Oracle).

Fluency in Java, Perl, Python, Smalltalk or other OO languages.
